JAKARTA, July 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Kepulauan Tanimbar, Indonesia at 22:18:31 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 34.50 km, was initially determined to be at 6.7882 degrees south latitude and 131.8179 degrees east longitude.
